Before installing this patch, be sure to update Acrobat 6 (full version) or the free Adobe Reader to 6.0.4 (you need to apply the 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.0.3 and 6.0.4 patches before this one) – all Acrobat updates are listed here. This Acrobat 6.0.5 update fixes a potential file bloat issue when Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions software is used, and it allows Flash 8 content to be displayed correctly within Reader. Furthermore, this update includes security improvements that are rated critical. The version number of Acrobat can be found in the Help-About menu.
