This download updates the driver for VIA S3 VIA Rhine ii Ethernet Adapter Network Card to the latest version as per manufacturers release notes. The Rhine_WinXP_387a.zip driver is valid for all VIA S3 VIA Rhine ii Ethernet Adapter Network Cards with the following specs;

VIA Rhine represents the NIC Solutions range by VIA offering 10/100Mbps throughput and is PCI 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 compliant. Depending on the chipset type they can be installed either on a Motherboard or a NIC Network Interface Card. Controllers can be configured in 10Base-T, 100Base-TX or 100Base-FX although this is done by the OEM. 10Base-T runs at 10Mbps over twisted pair. 100Base-TX runs at 100Mbps over twisted pair category 5 cable or higher. 100Base-FX runs at 100Mbps over optical fiber.
