The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 1.5 Pro is an external, USB sound card featuring THX TruStudio Pro and Dolby Digital Live technologies. It comes packaged with an InfaRed Remote for convenient operation as well as an accessible volume control knob. Optical Digital Out, commonly referred tp as S/PDIF is a relatively new digital audio connection over coaxial or fiber optic cabling. The name stand for Sony / Philips Digital Interconnect Format after the 2 developers of this standard and can transfer 20-bit audio data streams, It however can support 24-bit streaming by adding 4 extra bits.
