The Volume Up/Down, Volume Mute, and Microphone Keys gives you easier control over your audio settings. It is also slightly tilted to make it easier to reach all the keys with your fingers and with less strain on your hands and wrist.
The ThinkPad USB Keyboard with TrackPoint allows you to eliminate the need for an external mouse and still have precise control over the screen using the pointing stick. The TrackPoint pointing stick functions by sensing applied force using a pair of resistive strain gauges. It basically has the same function as your mouse or trackball, with the left and right buttons found just below the keyboard.
