The HP Compaq L2105tm is a Windows 7-Certified multi-touch monitor capable of Full HD resolution at 1920x1080. It uses Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) as its touch-screen technology which uses ultrasonic waves transmitted across the screen. Whenever a finger touches the screen, it breaks the ultrasonic waves, which the controller reports as movement. This enables the use of either finger(s) or the included stylus to navigate the user interface. Viewing angle ranges at 170/160 degrees and colour gamut is listed at 72% (NTSC, TYP). Colour gamut percentage represents the percentage of colour a monitor can handle within that standard (in this case NTSC). It is worth noting that 72% of NTSC roughly translates to the full spectrum of the sRGB colour-space.
