The Scanmaker 9600XL from Microtek is a scanner that allows users to scan tabloid size images as well as B-size or A3 originals. The product has a 36-bit color unit, meaning the output is deeper, richer and more detailed than those produced by 24-bit and 30-bit scanners. The device can scan documents as large as 12 x 17 (inches) at an optical resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi. The bed is also large enough to scan ten 3.5 x 5 photos at a time.
