The NVIDIA Quadro4 750 XGL graphics card has a memory of 64MB (or 128MB, depending on model) DDR SDRAM. It features support for multiple monitors and 3D technology. The card supports a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 @ 75 Hz refresh rate. The graphics card comes with two types of connectors for monitors (VGA and DVI-I). It sports a Dual nfiniteFX Vertex Shader processor that allows developers to inject special effects like 3D textures into their applications and games. Additionally, it supports the Unified Driver Architecture developed by NVIDIA and optimized for graphical applications that make use of OpenGL and DirectX graphics technologies. The card also supports NVIDIA’s proprietary Lightspeed Memory Architecture technology.
Lightspeed Memory Architecture allows programmers and developers to create realistic 3D environments and deploy them on their applications by ensuring that the GPU is responsible for all the geometry-related calculations involved. It also supports Unified Memory Architecture (UMA); this feature allocates memory among different graphics subsystems like frame buffer, vertex and texture memory, which maximizes the utilization of hardware resources and in a way that reduces chances of degradations in performance or functionality loss caused by exhaustion of graphics memory. The card is further empowered by the nView Multi-Display Technology which allows customization of workspaces on multiple analog monitors and digital flat panels.AUTHOR
