NVIDIA Quadro 5000, one of the cards offered as professional graphics solutions by the manufacturer, sports a 320-bit memory interface, as well as total frame buffer of 2.5 GB (of memory type GDDR5). It has 352 CUDA cores, which allows for processing of hundreds of program threads simultaneously, and allows developers of games and graphics applications to create and edit highly complex structures on screen, without requiring too much time for processing the same. The card is also capable of utilizing 3D Vision Pro technology developed by NVIDIA, with a maximum display resolution of 2560 x 1600. The card offers 64x full scene anti-aliasing (FSAA) when used as a single GPU, and is capable of raising it to 128x, when two identical cards are used in SLI configuration.

The card offers out of the box support for Multi-OS technology developed by NVIDIA. Multi-OS allows a developer to execute multiple graphics-intensive applications at the same time, on a number of virtual computers. Those virtual computers can have different operating systems installed in those and run from the same CPU. This allows graphics professionals to save money by using a single powerful computer to carry out the work that would otherwise require usage of multiple CPUs. In an SLI configuration built using Quadro GPUs, developers can use one of the cards for processing graphical applications, and use the second one to render the end results on multiple virtual computers with different operating systems, all from a central (and real) CPU.
