LG W1942(Analog)

The Flatron W1942T is an all-purpose display that is fairly solid and comes with a 19-inch screen. This solid all-purpose display from LG has an aspect ratio of 16:10, a maximum resolution of 1440 x 900, native 4:3 display mode, a 700:1 contrast ratio, and a remarkably low noise profile. The Flatron W1942T comes with extensive calibration options, offers DVI and D-sub connectivities, produces top quality prints, uses less energy, has a 5 ms response time, and has standard viewing angles.

In terms of illumination, LCD panels actually do not produce light of their own. As a result, they require an external lighting mechanism for them to be visible. Modern displays built with LCDs like the Flatron W1942T have a fluorescent lamp situated at the back of the LCD panel. Recently, conventional backlit LCDs have been replaced by LED backlit displays in television sets and manufacturers believe that in years to come LCDs may soon be replaced by LEDs just as LCDs replaced CRTs in the past.
