Lexmark X342n Scanner

Lexmark X342n is a multifunction printer that is very easy to use, space saving, and Ethernet ready. This all-in-one printer from Lexmark prints up to 25 pages per minute, copies up to 25 pages per minute, scans legal size documents, and faxes at up to 33.6 Kbps modem with ten speed-dials. The Lexmark X342n includes software suites to help end users organize and create digital documents from original scans, built with book hinges and a legal-size glass plate for scanning flexibility, and comes with an automatic document feeder.

An automatic document feeder (ADF) is a feature usally to be found in modern printers like multifunction printers. Multifunction printers like Lexmark X342n may have a built in automatic document feeder or an optional ADF. There are actually two kinds of ADFs: a reversing automatic document feeder and a duplexing automatic document feeder. A reversing ADF scans only one side of a page, flips the page, and scans the other side. On the other hand, a duplexing ADF can scan both sides of the page in just one pass.
