The Intel(R) WiFi Link 5350 is part of the group of IEEE 802.16e and 802.11a/b/g/n wireless network adapters that work in the 2.5GHz range for WiMAX. For Wi-Fi, they work in the 2.4GHz as well as 5.0GHz spectra. This adapter offers a maximum of 13Mbps for down-linking and as much as 3Mbps of up-linking over WiMAX. Over WiFi, it also offers 450Mbps Tx/Rx2. The Intel(R) Wi-Fi Link 5150 has a module integrated in the later Intel(R) Centrino 2-equipped notebooks, and this module supplies versatile and immediate connectivity to Wi-Fi as well as WiMax network types, providing a great deal of convenience for the user.

The Intel Wi-Fi Link 5350 is used for faster connectivity at lower power consumption. Wi-Fi or Wireless Fidelity is a means by which various electronic machines are able to connect to each other. There are many devices now that are Wi-Fi enabled, and they range from computers and netbooks to smaller gadgets such as smartphones and tablets. Wi-Fi is more or less considered a requirement now for most of these types of machines. Intel creates chipsets beyond its own imagination. The Intel(R) WiFi link 5150 provides an enhanced computing experience at any time of the day without the user having to pay higher for the electric costs.
