HP Photosmart 7550 series

The Photosmart 7550 enables one to print pictures directly from any print capable HP digital camera without a personal computer or a laptop. By simply connecting your print capable HP digital camera to the USB port of the printer, pictures can be transferred into any of the printer?s four card readers. The Photosmart 7550 also houses a control panel and LCD screen which will help the user to select the pictures; zoom and rotate them; set the number of prints; and adjust the hues.

When compared to previous generation consumer-oriented color printers, inkjet printers hold several advantages. They operate more silently than dot matrix printers that use impact or daisywheel printers. Inkjet printers can produce finer, smoother, and more detailed print with higher printhead resolution. Currently, there are already many consumer category inkjets with photo-quality printing available in the market. Relative to more costly technologies such as dye sublimation, thermal wax, , and laser printing, inkjet printers have the benefit of almost no warm up time, and lower cost per page.
