The Canon Digital Ixus 300 has a 2.1 megapixel resolution like its predecessor, the Digital Ixus, making it easier to produce clearer 8?x10? prints. It has a 3x optical zoom, helping you capture details at a distance. The 1.5? LCD also doubles as a digital viewfinder and onscreen menu display. Each image is saved in JPEG format with a 1600×1200 resolution. It also allows you to record up to 30 seconds of footage in its movie mode.
Digital cameras like the Canon Digital Ixus 300 have completely taken over and have almost phased out cameras that use film. Compared to a regular film camera, digicams can show you a preview of the pictures you?ve taken automatically. This allows you to choose the shots you want to be printed out, and lets you delete shots that you don?t want, freeing up more space for more pictures. Depending on the memory capacity, you can store thousands of pictures without the need to change film every so often.AUTHOR
