The Canon i250 Bubble Jet printer is an entry-level printer produced by Canon that uses a heating system with piezoelectric crystals. This class of printer is also referred to as inkjet printers. The printing process starts with a current being used on a heating element inside a tiny chamber to produce a vaporizing effect on the ink. This produces a bubble which due to accumulated pressure is pushed as a drop of ink onto the paper. This process gave name to Canon?s ?bubble jet

The Canon i250 is a thermal inkjet printer, also called as a bubble jet printer by its manufacturer. Note that a thermal inkjet printer is a lot different from a thermal printer. Thermal printers produce images by using thermal papers that have been heated, used mostly in fax machines, receipt printers and the like. A thermal inkjet printer, however, uses heaters placed in a series of tiny chambers inside the print cartridges, all constructed by using the process of photolithography.
