The Brother MFC-880CDN/CDWN adds to the convenience of a phone and fax with the machine?s regular printing, copying and scanning features. The digital cordless handset features anti-wiretapping abilities and can be used at up to a distance of approximately 100 meters. Standby time is approximately 200 hours, with a charging time of approximately 12 hours. An auto switching feature between fax and phone is also available, with the capability to handle multi-address transmission of up to 250 locations.
The Brother MFC-880CDN/CDWN brings back the technology of the fax machine, a piece of technology that people feared would be phased out with the dawn of the Internet and electronic mail. Short for facsimile and also called telecopying, a fax is then a transmission of data to a telephone number connected to a printer, a fax machine or to a similar output device. Although sending an email seems to be easier than sending a fax message, the fax still maintains the safety of your message with the least possibilities of being intercepted.AUTHOR
