The Viewsonic E53 monitor did very well when compared to other monitors of the same kind in the screen regulation test. There was no visible streaking or shift in black and white levels, and its RGB colors were notably uniform throughout the entirety of the screen. This monitor will do well for home or personal use, although it may also be a good selection for small businesses. Most home and office applications will present very comfortably to a viewer with this monitor. Its menu is also user friendly.
The first computer monitors used cathode ray tubes. This is why they are known as CRT monitors. In the 80s, the monitors were monochrome and the image quality was poor. When IBM introduced the Color Graphics Adapter, these monitors were given the ability to display four colors and when the Enhanced Graphics Adapter was introduced, they were able to display 16 colors. CRT remained the standard for computer monitors as well as TV screens through most of the 1990s. CRT technology was dominant in the PC monitor market into the new millennium.AUTHOR
