The Mimo Magic Touch Capacitive Touchscreen USB monitor has a display size of 10.1 inches with a maximum display resolution of 1024 x 600. It has a capacitive screen, which means it offers smoother touch response and better ease of use than a resistive touchscreen. Even without installing the driver, it is fully compatible with Windows 7 OS. However, in case of Windows XP and Vista it works in a display-only mode unless the touchscreen driver is installed. While the monitor comes with a dock, it can also be removed from the dock entirely and be used as a tethered tablet. The monitor connects to the computer via an USB 2.0 interface, which means its response time is as low as 16 milliseconds.

The device uses Capacitance Sensing Multi-Touch Touch Screen technology which allows the monitor to sense more than one point of contact on the surface. This multi point awareness of the device allows users to use various multi-touch gestures including pinch to zoom and multi-finger swipes, making a lot of typical computing operations easy and fast. In addition to being used as a tethered tablet, the device can be used as mounted screen in landscape or portrait mode as well, providing considerable flexibility of use. Because the device sports a USB connector, adding multiple monitors to a computer can be accomplished easily via USB hubs.
