Texas Instruments PCIxx21 Integrated FlashMedia Controller is a chipset capable of supporting a wide range of data transfer technologies. The product offers out of the box support for flash memory cards and smart cards, allowing manufacturers to include card readers in their products. It can also support FireWire (IEEE 1394) technology for data transfer, allowing manufacturers to use it in devices that must support connectivity through FireWire. The controller seamlessly supports Finger Detection Algorithm, and can be used in electronic devices manufactured for hearing impaired users. It has also been designed to support Intel XD technology, which allows CPUs to reserve some memory to be used only by specific devices. The XD technology is used in a wide variety of security devices.
The device offers support for Finger Detection Algorithm, which was developed for the benefit of users with impaired hearing. Chipsets built according to the algorithm are installed in devices equipped with touchscreens, in order to allow such users to communicate quickly. All the user has to do is to move his/her fingers on the screen in the shape of letters, and the chipset detects the motion of the fingertips, displaying the letters on screen. In devices preloaded with OCR software programs, the text may also be read out aloud, allowing the user to communicate with anyone else quickly and effectively.DOWNLOAD Texas Instruments PCIxx21 Integrated FlashMedia Controller
