NVIDIA Tesla S2050 graphics computing processor, has been designed based on the form of the proprietary 1U chassis. The product features a 384-bit memory interface, as well as 144 GB/sec memory bandwidth. The device has as many as 448 CUDA cores built into it, allowing it to handle processing and execution of hundreds of independent program threads simultaneously. It offers a memory clock speed of 1.5 GHz, allowing for quick compilation and execution of programs, as well as computational threads. The device comes with onboard memory of 12 GB (GDDR5 type). It can be installed on motherboards having PCIe x16 Gen2 slots.

The product supports Asynchronous Transfer technology, which aims at optimizing data processing by GPU cores. It does this by transferring data for processing using the PCIe bus, whenever cores are in a busy state, working on a set of data. That way, as soon as the cores are done with the current processing, new data is immediately transferred to them, ensuring very little, or even no wastage of clock cycles. This is particularly useful when carrying out computation of enormous quantities of data, such as those related to atmospheric conditions, or seismic activities in a particular region over a specific period of time.
