HP OfficeJet R45

The HP Officejet R Series provides photo quality printing and copying at 600 x 600 dpi monochrome and color resolution that uses Resolution Enhancement technology (REt). Its flatbed scanning capability gives you copies at a maximum size of A to A4 paper at the touch of a button. It also has an automatic document feeder (ADF) that lets you copy and scan without the need to watch over it. Its fax function allows you to save up to 100 speed dials in its memory.

This tool uses thermal inkjet printing, making it less expensive to produce photo quality prints. Inkjet printing means propelling droplets of ink onto paper to create digital images. Through thermal inkjet technology, cartridges used contain heaters that help vaporize ink to create bubbles, each bubble propelling a droplet of ink. This should not be confused with thermal printing though, which is a completely different process used in fax machines, receipt printers, and more.
