HP Officejet Pro K8600 Series

The HP Officejet Pro K8600dn offers fast printing, suitable for the demands of a business setting. It can do as many as 36 pages per minute in printing black and 35 pages per minute printing color, with a monochromatic resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, and a color resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. It supports both Windows and Macintosh operating systems, allowing you to connect a wider variety of computers and devices to it.

This printer uses what is known as thermal inkjet technology, also called as the bubblejet technology. Basically, the print cartridges used contains tiny chambers, each chamber containing a heater constructed by photolithography. A pulse of current is passed through the heating element that vaporizes the ink, causing it to form a bubble. The pressure will then propel the droplet of ink onto the paper, forming the digital image to be printed out.
