HP LaserJet 4P

The HP LaserJet 4 (sometimes called as LJ4 or HP4) is a series of LaserJet printers produced in the early to mid-90?s. It includes different models for different uses, with the standard LaserJet 4 used for businesses, the 4L for used for personal purposes, and the 4P for smaller businesses. It also includes the 4Si for heavy-duty business use and the 4V made for desktop publishing and graphic artists. This line of printers have been built for durability, and its built-in PCL printer language support is still heavily in use up to now.

This device is a series of printers built with durability for business use using laser-printing technology. Laser-printing uses the same technology used for photocopying called xerography. Basically, the image to be printed is produced by directly scanning a laser beam across the printer?s photoreceptor. Its speeds vary greatly, depending on how complex the text and graphics to be printed would be. The fastest laser printers can have the ability to print up to 200 pages per minute, or 12,000 pages per hour.
