The HP LaserJet 4200n makes quality printing more efficient at speeds of up to 35 pages per minute, with a 150,000 page per month duty cycle. It produces clear text and graphics at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution and has a parallel interface that is both PC and Mac compatible. With two input trays, it can hold up to 600 sheets, making way for more continuous printing. It also has the ability to handle different paper sizes and different kinds of media.
This device, like all laser printers, produces high quality text and graphics by using a xerographic printing process; the same technology used for photocopiers and LED printers. What is different between the laser printer and the analog photocopier however is that the image is produced by directly scanning a laser beam across the printer?s photoreceptor. The costs of using this technology may vary on the frequency and nature of use, with consideration on the cost of paper and toner as well.AUTHOR
