EIZO T68

EIZO T68 is a 19-inch CRT display featuring a DSP or a digital signal processor for correcting possible screen distortions that end users might experience. This 19-inch CRT display from EIZO also features a USB hub to suit other USB compatible peripherals. The EIZO T68 has the ability to create optimal pictures, is less curved and less thick than most other CRTs at this price range, has a flat-looking screen, enhanced overall monitor appearance compared to traditional CRTs, and has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 at 89 Hz.

Originally, only monochrome cathode ray tubes were used as computer monitors. Earlier, computer monitors were used for data processing and through the years computer monitors began to be used for entertainment. Though CRT monitors were replaced by LCDs in big numbers at the beginning of the 21st century, a number of manufacturers are still producing modern-day CRTs like EIZO T68 19-inch CRT display. CRT technology is believed to still remain as a staple computer monitor technology even in the new millennium because they are cheaper compared to LCDs and can offer viewing angles of up to 180 degrees.
