The Brother MFC-8880DN is the monochromatic version of the MFC-8890DW. It also lacks the capability to wirelessly connect to a network and needs a USB or Ethernet to connect to other machines and computers. It does feature an automatic duplexer, though, making it capable of double-sided printing. It also uses the Secure Print technology, which allows you to password protect print jobs. Its monochrome graphics are also much darker and have a higher contrast compared to most of its counterparts.
The Brother MFC-8880DN is a monochromatic laser printer that uses a xerographic printing process often known as electrophotography. Electrophotography is a photocopying process that does not use any liquid chemicals or ink. This technique was first invented in 1938 and was patented in 1942. The original process required several manual processing steps with flat tapes until an automated version of it was developed 18 years later, with the use of a cylindrical drum replacing the flat plate.AUTHOR
