The Atheros AR5004G Cardbus is a WiFi Adapter supporting both IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g standards whilst relying on digital CMOS technology. This minimizes power usage and hence expense while maintain reliable operations. It features an integrated chipset and 2.4 GHz Radio-on-Chip (RoC) that is supported by a Multiprotocol MAC/baseband processor. It has Wireless Multimedia Enhancements Quality of Service support (QoS) and a Super G mode that can provide up to 108 Mbps in data rates. On average, throughput for end users goes over 60 Mbps.
