The Realtek RTL8187B is a cost-effective, highly integrated wireless LAN USB 2.0 network interface controller. It features a serial interface engine, USB 2.0 PHY, OFDM baseband processor, 8051 MCU, wireless LAN MAC, an enhanced signal detector, a direct sequence spread spectrum, and a lot more. This low profile but highly integrated wireless adapter from Realtek supports nine endpoints for transfer pipes and fully complies with CCX, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/e, and WMM specifications. The Realtek RTL8187B requires fairly little maintenance and all but eliminates usage barriers.
