Description The latest release of the Webcam drivers and software is for newer Logitech web cams only - see below. Logitech have also reset the version numbering of the webcam software and driver packages (previously it was QuickCam 11) - the latest software release is now back at 1.1. At the same time, Logitech also abandoned the Quickcam branding. Now the buzz word is Vid. They say: 'Logitech Vid is the free, fast, and easy way to make video calls with your Logitech webcam. Vid is included with your Logitech webcam software, so that your webcam, microphone, and speakers will just work and be ready to make video calls. The package includes the Logitech web cam drivers, bug fixes, support for Windows 7, newer web cam releases and a new software interface. This is the full release, but does not contain any third party applications.
