The HP DeskJet 3420 printer driver package will work under most Windows systems (see above) and installs version 7.3 onto your system. This driver is designed for use on computers that will be directly connected to the printer from the computer via a USB or parallel cable.
Important: according to HP, the 3420 printer’s USB cable must be disconnected before installing the driver software.
